This full race system is constructed with a titanium muffler and stainless steel headers. The new shape is modeled after the design used to race in many championships. Power and torque have increased across the rev range, especially in the midrange and top end. It weighs more than 40% less than the standard exhaust and is easy to install. The deep racing sound perfectly matches the sporty capabilities of the motorcycle.
The Akrapovic exhaust system can also be fitted to the YZF-R1M model.
For perfect performance, throttle response and durability, an ECU remapping is recommended.
